What, Why and Who is Red Slime?

Red Slime is a comic information and community hub. A central online location for people who want to find out about comics (both print and web), read opinions on comics, talk about comics, and other verbs about comics. Ever tried to look for a webcomic? It's HARD. Well, to find a good one, anyway. Aside from top lists and comic hosting, there is nowhere for the average person to simply hang out. This website is a response to that gap, and we aim to give people a place to go to read and talk about the things they love (or just kind of like a bit).

Who we are is nobody special, and proud of it. Red Slime is run by a small group of eager webcomic creators and readers. We're not associated with any other comic host or zine. Because of this, anyone and everyone - from the smallest cartoonist to the most massive internet celebrity - can exist in the same space on the same level, as peers.

What sort of features are here?

Primarily the website offers newsreviews of web/print comics and graphic novels, as well as articles of all kinds on the subject.

And?

We also have a bustling chatroom and a forum for people to talk amongst themselves about the site content or... pretty much anything else. There's also have the UTTERLY FANTASTIC Red Slime Magazine, which is a monthly collection of short comics done by a variety of artists and writers.

Can I submit my own articles for the site? Or scripts/art for the magazine? How?

Totally. We encourage as many people as possible to get involved and share their opinions. Anyone with something to say can submit an article or a review to the site by going to the submit page.

To submit an article or review, simply go to the appropriate form and fill in all the details. Easy as that! For artists/writers interested in being involved in the magazine, go to it's form and check off all the details. Attach either your script or art samples and you're good to go.
