Indy Comics Creators Worldwide Posted at 8:49 pm, 09.19.2009 by LC
Hey there, comics fans. There's a new networking site out there for independent comics creators, and there's already been some cool stuff going on there. It was started by Randy Taylor, a writer with KnightShift Entertainment, who I've been working with on a few stories that'll be appearing in future issues of the magazine. If you're interested, you can check out the networking site here and see what indy creators are up to nowadays.

You Can Write Things Now Posted at 1:50 am, 08.21.2009 by LC
Well, it certainly took me a li'l longer than I thought it would, but script submissions are now officially open once again. This means that your original story could end up in a future issue of Red Slime Magazine!
Click here for general guidelines, as well as other ways you can contribute to the site. Note that you have to register on the site before you can submit anything. Also, if you have any issues with the submission forms, you can always just e-mail stuff to me at editor@red-slime.net.
I'm looking forward to reading your awesome scripts!

Stuff Happens Posted at 5:24 am, 05.07.2009 by Zwuh
 Hi ho slimers.
Now that we've settled past that whole "new" phase of the website, it's time to come clean with you. This whole place is rigged to explode. The exits are sealed and I've tied all your mothers up in the basement with a pack of rabid dogs.
Oh, and there are also new things you can read. There are reviews of Anti-Bunny, The War at Ellsmere and Scott Pilgrim vs. The Universe, plus a cracking article on Will Eisner's terrible dialogue by Greg Thelen. The second issue of the RS Magazine has come and not-gone (go read it now, punks) and issue #3 is right there, staring you in your pudgy face.
LC is soon going to be updating the forums to version 3, which I believe gives it rocket powers. In the meantime you can head over there and blah blah blah to your heart's content. Everyone is jazzing in the chat these days too. Remember if you have any comic news or opinions or whatever, let us know and make yourself heard. Also open to suggestions for reviewable comic goodness (or any awful turd-abortion comics).
Peace out, aliens.

Launch Party Time! Posted at 5:04 am, 03.02.2009 by Zwuh
So awesome of you to drop by. Holy MACKEREL. LC thinks HE'S been working on this thing for a while, I've been grasping at imaginary camels since early in the millenium trying to magic this thing into being.
Welcome to RedSlime, a online comic community hub and information center. Within these metaphorical walls you will find reviews, news, opinion articles and loads of other guff about comics both web and paper-based. You'll also find such exciting and super features as an X3000-B42F Weapons Grade forum for typing long comments on pointless topics, an ultra-secret RedSlime chat room filled with radioactive voles, a monthly online magazine with short comics from awesome writers and artists, eleven secret herbs and spices, and the key to eternal youth. Results may vary.
Here you can connect with the webcomic community in a bipartisan setting, as well as find some awesome (and terrible) things to read and enjoy. PLUS, we're very big on user-generated content because we're very, very lazy. And we love you. That shiny little submit button will take you to a wonderous place where all your dreams of saying stuff will come true, and your work can appear on the site.
Go ahead and chech the writings if you like reading, the forums/chat if you like talking, the submissions area if you like being a kickass ninja, or the FAQ page if you're a confused old man.
Wheee!
